Advanced waterproofing on the PU-coated leather upper helps to keep the feet dry, while a high-rebound midsole material upholds all-day comfort. The non-metallic safety toe and built-in electrical hazard protection provide an extra measure of jobsite confidence. Underneath, the HD Pivotal outsole provides best-in-class chemical and heat resistance. Recycled content materials are used throughout. Ideal for outdoor construction, carpentry, and other trades that involve lots of kneeling.

The TruGuard Lite 2551 features:
- HRO
- Soles that have been designed and tested to perform on high heat surfaces. Soles identified as HRO are heat resistant to melting at a minimum of 475º Fahrenheit.
- Red Wing Waterproofing System
- This system uses a 3-layer approach to keep feet dry.1 - Linings help move moisture away from the foot to keep it dry. 2 - Foam provides cushioning and a comfortable fit. 3 - A waterproof bootie is a barrier to keep water out. Tricot, a protective material, is applied to the outside of the bootie to ensure a complete waterproof system.

Smooth-Finished Leather Care
1. Clean
Use a quick exam every few weeks to determine if the leather needs maintenance. Use warm water, Foam Leather Cleaner, and a soft bristle brush to remove stuck-on dirt. Then use a clean, dry cloth to wipe away any remaining excess dirt.
2. Condition
Apply Leather Cream or Neutral Boot Cream to any smooth-finished leather to hydrate the leather without darkening and bolster water resistance. Black, Brown, or Burgundy Boot Creams can be used to cover scuffs on corresponding leather color.
3. Protect
Add extra protection to preserve your footwear. Lightly mist footwear with Leather Protector six to eight inches away from the leather in a sweeping motion. Leather Protector provides an invisible shield against moisture, dirt, oil and mud. It will not darken footwear.
